SHORING SYSTEM FOR WATER TANK STRUCTURE AT PLUS R&R, SEREMBAN
Silara Akses has been approached by the client to provide CIDB compliance shoring material with Perakuan Pematuhan Standard (PPS). On 15Th November 2022, we were appointed as a sub-contractor for all scaffolding-related work for this rejuvenation project at Seremban RSA (Southbound). We supplied material, labor, and tools for the installation of a shoring/falsework system for water tank concrete structure construction.
The shoring system consists of 5-level podium structures with dimensions of 11.2 m (L) x 11.2 m (W) x 22.0 m (H). Our scope includes providing design, drawing, and calculation with PE endorsement for this project.
Erection starts with 1st level and continues after each level is completed. For this shoring work project, we used Modular Crab 60, which enables quick installation/dismantling and is more efficient and safe compared to other scaffolding systems. The shoring structure was also equipped with an access platform to enable plastering work around the structure. The combination of shoring and access in one system reduces the need to have a separate system for these purposes, which in the end provides economical solutions to our client.
