PROJECT: EPM BERANANG WATER TANK REFURBISHMENT
A birdcage scaffold structure combined with a cantilever platform was erected using a tubular scaffold as a working platform. The platform was for refurbishment of the water tank including painting activity. The structure size is circa 12m x 12m x 15m height.Top railings were elevated to make it safe for working at height during tank lifting operations. For blasting work, the structure is fully netted to cover an area of 2160 cubic meters. Drawings and Professional Engineer endorsed calculation were provided to the client as part of design submission. Erection and dismantling were done by 6 competent scaffolders in 5 days and 3 days, respectively, and are managed by level 1 and level 2 certified scaffolders. The finished structure was inspected by competent Scaffold Inspector. All work is completed without any technical problems with materials from Silara Akses.
