PNB118 MOVIE SHOOTING PLATFORM USING TUBULAR SCAFFOLD AND CANTILEVERED ALUMINIUM TRUSS
Overview:
For an event at the PNB118 Tower, a filming company required a specialized working platform to support heavy equipment and stunt gear at the level 118 or the top of the tower. The project demanded a custom design capable of holding substantial loads, while avoiding damage to the solar panels installed on the roof. Due to the tight access constraints, materials such as long tubular systems, plywood, and other scaffolding-related components had to be carefully delivered and maneuvered through a narrow staircase space. On top of that, aluminium truss was specially assembled as a cantilevered structure to withstand dynamic loading from stunt scenes of the film.
Scope of Work:
1. Design and Drawing: Custom design for a shoring system to support heavy equipment safely on the rooftop, accounting for the existing solar panels.
2. Calculation: Structural calculations to ensure the platform’s stability and capacity to hold heavy loads.
3. Material Supply and Rental: Supplying and managing scaffolding materials (tubular systems, plywood, etc.) to fit the project’s specific needs.
4. Manpower Erection and Dismantling: Erecting the platform in a limited space while ensuring safety and efficiency during the entire process.
